The story
About the band
Deltaphonic is a New Orleans band that blends Southern rock and blues with the city's funk and soul. In 2021 they left New Orleans to record an EP in Ecuador and dubbed themselves "the southernmost Southern rock band."
They have toured the U.S. and Europe. Their album The Funk, the Soul & the Holy Groove came out in 2020, and their site lists a new single due November 13, 2026, with an album featuring brass band arrangements on the way.
"Deltaphonic is one of those bands who are out there creating their own genre."
